The search for the missing sometimes leads us down strange paths. This past month, the following all provided us with information that resulted in the location of an Ankara alum -

an arctic biologist (on a cell phone in the arctic tundra)
a couple of Alaskan bush pilots
a genealogist in Louisiana
the Colorado Springs Library
the manager of a nudist colony
the Marietta, GA police department
a residential real estate agent in Arizona
the Misawa/Edgren Alumni Association (Japan)
