Well Lyn. This really showed how much your people search has done to bring so many together. The movie "Brats. Our Journey Home" was really so true and showed how so many of us were tossed and turned by the travels needed to keep the American services going strong. You, Tim and all the others involved in tracking so many of us down deserve so much gratitude from so many BRATS. I still remember the call I made to Fran Archibald as though it was yesterday. The Air Force Times was carrying the request for any Ankara school alumni to call her number. A real connection with my school chums.
I hope now with the pressure of the 2005 reunion over that you will be able to find others that will feel like I did that day. Whole!! A word that Sue Gren said a few times upon finding this wonderful organization. Thanks to all of you. Roger Redwanski - Class of "68" "Never argue with the person packing your parachute" |

Roger,
Your comments are as on topic and as touching as the film. I am so thankfull and appreciative of the efforts and attention to detail made by so many to make this gathering possible. Prior to experiencing this reunion and viewing "Brats"; I felt as if I might have been the only one going through a childhood so stimulated and influenced by the oddities of my situatuon. I no longer feel nearly as alone in these thoughts but rather a part of a new whole. My sincere thanks to all who have contributed to this and previous reunion efforts, and warm thoughts to my old and new found friends. Wayne Donelson "68" |

Fran, So sorry to have missed you in Dallas. Such an amazing scene to try to assimilate after so many years. I was moved by the entire event and the realization that was indeed a common family out there with similar disjointed upbringings; all of whom seem to have survived and prospered.
I hope it isn’t another 37 years before we get a chance to connect, there eems to be a fair sized east-coast contingent. Thanks again to all whom have done so much to make these events possible. Wayne Donelson 68 |
