For Immediate Release Contact: Shawn Street, Public Relations www.publishamerica.com PublishAmerica Presents A View from Iraq by Elmer L. Snow, III Frederick, MD March 14, 2007 -- PublishAmerica is proud to present A View from Iraq by Elmer L. Snow, III of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. A View from Iraq relates the untold stories of several members of the United States Armed Forces and civilian support personnel whose personal acts and bravery were not previously reported. In 2003 Elmer L. Snow, III was contacted by Halliburton Corporation to provide personal protection services during the reconstruction of Iraq. As a security coordinator with KBR, a Halliburton subsidiary, Snow worked in numerous high-risk positions throughout Iraq, including Mosul, Baghdad, Tikrit, Balad, and culminating at Camp Anaconda. Snow has taken his firsthand observations and experiences to share with those who have served in Iraq, had families who served, or who want an unbiased view of actual conditions. After surviving roadside attacks, and well over 150 incoming mortar attacks, he has something to tell. Elmer L. Snow, III is a retired detective sergeant from the Prince George’s County, Maryland, Police Department. After retiring from police work he’s served as an executive bodyguard, newspaper reporter, elected mayor, private investigator, and a security coordinator in Iraq for Halliburton Corporation. Snow previously authored Overkill - A Detective’s Story, and Revenge Served Cold, both published by PublishAmerica. By changing his genre from fiction to non-fiction, he’s proud to say that in this work, A View from Iraq, he’s able to write from his heart as well as his mind. PublishAmerica is the home of 20,000 talented authors. PublishAmerica is a traditional publishing company whose primary goal is to encourage and promote the works of new, previously undiscovered writers. Like more mainstream publishers, PublishAmerica pays its authors advances and royalties, makes its books available in both the United States and Europe through all bookstores, and never charges any fees for its services. PublishAmerica offers a distinctly personal, supportive alternative to vanity presses and less accessible publishers. END |
