I was at Universal Studios Tour once, must have been in the early 80's, as I was leaning against a golf cart that had the name Telly Sevallas (sp) on it. I just thought it was some kind of plant, you know a prop for some movie or TV show, something like that. Some guy comes up behind me and says, you wanna get off the cart? I say something like I was here first, whatever, then I turn around and I am looking into the face of Telly himself. He was NOT in a happy mood, however.

I loved Telly Sevalas (also sp). We named our dog after him--his real name was Aristotle. Well actually my daughter thought the dog was named after Telly Monster on Sesame Street--but I figured he (the one on SS) was named after Telly Sevalis (a different sp). Do you remember his role in The Birdman of Alcatraz? (the real actor, not the muppet). (pardon my random thoughts, which aren't really of "giggle" caliber I suppose....)
