Hi Merri--nice to hear from you. I don't remember any teacher asking us to do our Follies routine. I just remember Brenda and I doing it! What a trip! I remember your routine--it was good.




Right now my husband and I live in Fairfax,VA, but are headed for retirement to Myrtle Beach, SC, in about a year. Can't wait! How about you? Are you still in Galveston? Are you going to the reunion in Dallas? I really wanted to go this year but we will be in Myrtle getting things started.

Yes, Fran, I do plan to go the reunion in August, and I'm sorry you won't be there. It's hard to believe we're old enough to be talking about retirement, isn't it? Which routine of min do you remember? I don't think anyone asked us to do it - but there were several of us in a group that Mr. Price put together, including Vicki Preston and Judi Poag. It was fun and I wish I remembered more of it!

Merri, I said I remembered your routine but I couldn't possibly since you graduated a month before I even got to Turkey. Somewhere in the chatter I remember someone talking about everything being black/dark and those on stage were wearing white gloves and shoes and they did some kind of routine. I do remember that somewhere in my Ankara memories. Saw Lyn, etal, last night in DC. What a hoot! Have a great time in Dallas!

Fran, isn't memory a funny thing? I vaguely remember doing the routine, but remember that we did it, with some prompting! I often wish that I could go back in time and see what I can't remember now. It's probably a good thing that I can't.
