ANKARA ALUMNI NETWORK/ANKARA REUNION...
a group of volunteers dedicated to only 2 goals:
1 - Find people who attended the American high school in Ankara, and ...
2 - Help you re-connect with your classmates, faculty and friends.
To achieve these goals, we offer you the following resources:
l WEBSITES:
www.AnkaraAlumni.net
- a comprehensive resource for alumni and reunion information.
www.AnkaraPostOffice.com
- the APO….a topical, digital gathering-place for information,
interaction, messages and conversations.
l
ANKARA DIRECTORY - We periodically publish
and mail, at no cost to you, the ANKARA DIRECTORY - the
names, addresses and phone numbers, by class year, of Ankara
alumni who attended the school in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
The Directory also contains contact information for faculty,
a list of graduates still missing and the names of all known
deceased alumni and faculty.
l
The NETWORK - The most comprehensive on-line
class lists and email address resource available to Ankara alumni.
All class years, beginning with 1953 ~ up to and including the
most recent graduating class, are included. Rapidly approaching
4,000 listings, the NETWORK includes a listing for each and
every alum and faculty member who has been located. Protected
from spammers, the NETWORK is available only to bona fide alumni
and faculty who create a logon user name and password. Visit
THE
NETWORK.
l
ANKARA REUNIONS - We've organized four so far
— 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2005. These 3-day events have reunited
well over a thousand Ankara alums.
The first Ankara Directory
was mailed in March 1991. At that time, only 66 alumni had
been located. Today, we're fast approaching 4,000. The 1953 -
1979 class years and faculty well exceeds 3,000 listings. Additionally,
listings for those who attended George C. Marshall High School
in the 1980s, 90s and beyond, has grown to roughly 600.
Ankara Alumni Network and Ankara Reunion
are established legal entities, structured as Not-For-Profit
Associations.
